About
Bringing warmth, clarity, and intentional care back to workplace development
The People Practice is built on one belief: employees shouldn’t merely adapt to their workplace. They should be equipped to thrive in it.

Meet the founder
Nijah Wright
Founder & Principal Consultant
When employees feel supported, clearly guided, and genuinely invested in from day one, organizations see stronger engagement, better retention, and healthier cultures. I’ve seen it firsthand, and it’s why I started The People Practice.
My background brings together instructional design, adult learning, and the study of how people experience work and organizations. After years focused on employee onboarding, organizational behavior, and workforce development, building this practice felt like a natural next step in my passion for helping people succeed at work.
Today I partner with growing organizations to design onboarding systems, learning programs, and development strategies that are structured and measurable, and that feel human to the people going through them.
Who we are
Nurturing an organization’s greatest asset: its people
The People Practice helps growing companies build a resilient, empowered workforce, one where employees feel valued enough to stay, grow, and do their best work, by nurturing their greatest asset: their people.
We partner with stakeholders, SMEs, and leadership to create thoughtful, high-impact onboarding systems, custom training modules, and strategic L&D roadmaps that foster long-term growth and belonging.
By replacing rigid, outdated, text-heavy training with intentional, human-centered learning pathways, we make ramping up seamless and meaningful for every new hire.
Our mission
“To help build a resilient, empowered workforce where employees feel valued enough to stay, grow, and do their best work.”

Evidence-based
Methods grounded in research and best practices, with measurement built in from the start.
Built to last
Reusable systems your team owns and keeps improving, not one-time training events.
